Bug Brush by Sol Brush is a plant based, DEET free mosquito repellent you brush on. No sprays, no spray drift and no sticky residue, just a dry touch powder that smells like lavender and lemongrass, not bug spray. Pop the cap, tap the brush until the bristles load, test it on the back of your hand, then sweep it over exposed skin and reapply every 2 to 3 hours.
It's for ages 6 months and up and safe when used as directed, with a grown up doing the applying for little ones. Pocket sized and TSA friendly, it rides along to the park, the trail and the patio. Grab it in a bundle, or add the extras one at a time: peel and stick stickers for clothes and gear, coil bracelets, and little patches that cover a bite.

Bug Brush is plant based and DEET free, made without permethrin or synthetic pesticides. The six plant actives are neem, lemongrass, lavender, peppermint, geraniol and menthol. We stick to "plant based" and "DEET free" because those words describe it exactly. Curious about everything inside? The full ingredient list is printed on the canister and the box.
Bug Brush is for ages 6 months and up and is safe when used as directed. It is not for babies under 6 months. With kids, a grown up does the applying: sweep a little powder onto your own hands first, then smooth it onto your child's exposed skin, away from eyes and mouth. Kids shouldn't apply it themselves. It's made with essential oils, so if your little one's skin is sensitive, try a small amount first.
It smells like lavender and lemongrass, not bug spray. The scent comes from its plant actives (lavender, lemongrass and peppermint lead the way), so you'll notice a fresh, herby smell when you sweep it on. Most people love that part. If your nose, or your toddler's, is sensitive to strong scents, try a little first and see how it sits with you.
